Our Programs

We are finding innovative ways every year to enhance our students’ learning experience. Students may work with a new computer-based program to improve their reading and math skills one day and be outside learning about nature the next. View the page below to learn about the diverse ways our students learn.

H.A.R.T.

Falcons have heart! We encourage our Falcons to be hardworking, accountable, respectful, and trustworthy (HART). There are specific behaviors, values, and expectations that we encourage our students to adopt. You can find these expectations on our expectation matrix.

Our students can earn HART tickets when they display these core values and expectations and then use the tickets to earn prizes and rewards. For details on this program, please read our reinforcement matrix.

Our staff is trained to follow our behavior flowchart when a student does not display behaviors consistent with our school expectations. We hope by sharing our strategy, our students will succeed.

PBIS

Fowler Elementary implements school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). The goal of PBIS is to decrease disruptive behavior, increase academic achievement, and increase school safety.

PBIS, funded by the U. S. Department of Education, is an evidence-based plan to help improve practices and systems in order to help all students succeed. For more information, visit PBIS.
